As there is a lockdown in 80 districts all over the nation in the wake of growing positive cases of coronavirus, however, none of us thought about a bit for street animals, who are fully dependent on us from water to food.
People are told to practices social distancing to curb the spread of the corona infection. Prime Minister also urged people to stay at home as much as possible. But aren’t we supposed to think about street animals, who will be going to feed them?
Amid this lockdown, Maneka Sanjay Gandhi tweeted, showing love and concern for animals and said, “I have requested all animal welfare workers to feed the animals during this period of a lockdown. I will be doing the same. Please allow them to do so. If there is any problem, please contact me on 08800067890.”
