US President Donald Trump and Melania Trump will be on a two-day visit to India starting from February 24. US First lady Melania Trump is likely to visit a Delhi government school on February 25 to watch the happiness curriculum i.e. introduce by the Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government.
Melania Trump will visit the Delhi government school in South Delhi to see the impact of the happiness curriculum introduced by the Kejriwal govt as an attempt to reduce stress among school children. She will be received by CM Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia.
The US President is scheduled to reach Ahmedabad by noon on February 24 and will address a mammoth crowd of more than 1 lakh people who are going to turn up the event Kem Chho Trump at the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. They will later travel to Agra to see the Taj Mahal and will fly down to Delhi later that night.
The AAP government introduced the happiness curriculum in July 2018. As per the curriculum, the students studying in classes 1-8 at Delhi government schools need to spend 45 minutes every day to attend ‘Happiness Classes’, which comprise exercises such as storytelling, meditation and question and answer sessions. For nursery and KG students, the classes are held twice a week
