Missing seven-year-old thrown into Yamuna river

Kidnappers of a seven-year-old threw him in to the Yamuna river after they failed to find a place in Karawal Nagar to hide a seven-year-old, the police said Sunday. The police also said that they have arrested two people and detained another youth in connection with the abduction. The boy’s body has been recovered from the river.

Andaz, was abducted from outside his house on February 20. The family lodged an FIR and, on February 22, his father, who works at a medical store, got a ransom call demanding Rs 2.5 lakh. The police on questioning found out that the kidnappers had tempted the little boy on the pretext of buying him momos.

The family informed police, who picked up two people from the locality. During interrogation the alleged accused said that when they couldn’t find a hideout, they threw him into the river, reported media.
