Patel has written scripts for TV serials including Iswar Ek Apradh. On being asked about the act, Patel confessed that he was not earning enough from scriptwriting.

“He said it was hard to circulate the fake notes in cities and so he circulated them in rural areas in Madhya Pradesh,” said senior inspector of unit 9 Mahesh Desai.

Patel told the police that he has two wives and found it hard to take care of them. One is a model and the other is a housewife.
