In a counter attack on newly joined Congress man Navjot Singh Sidhu, SAD leader and Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Monday said Sidhu might go to Pakistan.
Some people have their feet in three boats, sometimes BJP, Congress and why not go ahead a little into Pakistan,” Harsimrat was quoted by ANI as saying.
She mocked Sidhu for returning to a party that wrecked genocide on the Sikh community.
“Congratulations to Sidhu saab who calls it ghar wapasi to go to a party that wreaked genocide on the Sikh community,” she said.
Meanwhile, Punjab Finance Minister Bikram Singh Majithia criticised Sidhu and said, “It’s difficult to take anything what Sidhu says seriously.
“Will people forget what he had said about Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi? He used the most derogatory words for Manmohan Singh sahib,” he added.
Navjot Singh SIdhu is likely to contest from Amritsar East seat in the upcoming Assembly polls.
