A nine-year-old girl was allegedly molested inside a school toilet located in a posh Ansal Sushant City in Panipat. As per reports, a school staff carried out this crime and the matter was kept hidden by the management for over 13 hours. It came to light when the matter was reported to the Women Cell around 8.45 pm on Wednesday. The police have registered a case against an unknown person and school management based on the statements of the girl’s father.
This incident comes days after the 7-year-old Pradyuman Thakur was found dead inside the toilet of Ryan International School. The school bus conductor, Ashok Kumar, has been arrested in connection with the case.
As per reports, the mother of the class IV student saw scratch marks on the minor’s neck and back when she was changing her clothes after coming back from school. The child then narrated the incident when her mother inquired about the injury marks.
According to the girl, she was molested by a man wearing a green t-shirt when she had gone to the washroom around 8 am, Women’s Cell DSP Vidyawati was quoted as saying.
Reports say that the alleged accused is the sweeper of the school. However, no confirmation of his identity has been made as yet. The minor’s statement will be recorded on Thursday, informed SP Rahul Sharma, as he assured that the accused will be nabbed soon.
