She added, “As a comedian whose job is to bring laughter and joy, I am deeply reflecting on my actions. I once again bow my head and deeply apologize to everyone who believed in and supported me.”
The mention that the employees had to see and hear the act “visual[ly] and auditory[ly]” has opened up the topic of discussion to a degree that is far beyond typical workplace disputes and has attracted massive attention from both the press and social media users.
