Peddi Box Office Collection Day 1 Worldwide: Ram Charan’s much-awaited sports action drama Peddi has stormed the box office with a sensational opening and it’s now being treated as one of the biggest theatrical launches of 2026. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, and co-starring Janhvi Kapoor, the Telugu-language pan-India entertainer saw extraordinary pre release demand which then somehow turned into record-breaking advance bookings and a strong Day 1 performance worldwide.
Peddi Records Biggest Pre-Sales Among South Indian Films of 2026
Even before the theatrical release happened, Peddi had already built huge buzz across India and also in overseas markets. As per trade reports, the film managed to wrap up its advance booking window with around ₹20.66 crore gross in pre-sales, excluding blocked seats. More than 8.2 lakh tickets were reportedly sold ahead of release. Premiere shows on Wednesday evening brought in Rs 18.50 crore net at a notably high occupancy of 72 percent, a figure that reflected strong advance interest before the general audience had weighed in. When both days are combined, the total India gross stands at Rs 82.49 crore and the total India net at Rs 69.50 crore.
The Telugu version contributed the lion’s share of bookings, while Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions also recorded encouraging demand. The film’s strong momentum reflected Ram Charan’s pan-India appeal following the success of RRR.

The makers of Peddi have officially announced a blockbuster opening for the film, revealing that the Ram Charan starrer grossed a massive Rs 135.36 crore worldwide on its first day. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the Buchi Babu Sana directorial collected a net of Rs 51 crore on Day 1, running across 12,412 shows across India at an overall occupancy of 45.5% percent.
