The PUBG Mobile India Series 2019 has come to an end as the grand-finals were concluded on March 10 at GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. The winners of the first-ever official PUBG Mobile tournament in India were the team Soul who grabbed a cash prize of Rs 30 lakh.
The fan favourites team Soul include Soul Mortal, Soul Owais, Soul Ronak and Soul Viper in the team. Team Soul was followed by team God’s Reign and team Funky Monkey as the first runner up and the second runner up respectively. The first runner up received a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh while the second runner up received Rs 5 lakh.
The finals went on from 11 am to 7 pm on March 10, in which a total of 20 teams participated in a five-match tournament.
The five matches played in the finals were divided as:
- First Match- TPP Erangel
- Second Match- TPP Sanhok
- Third Match- FPP Erangel
- Fourth Match- FPP Sanhok
- Fifth Match- TPP Erangel
Other than the team rankings, team Soul was also rewarded as Ex-terminators (award for the most number of kills by a squad) and received Rs 50,000 for the achievement. The MVP (most valuable player) award with a cash prize of Rs 50,000 went to KK from team God’s Reign and the title of Rampage Freak (award for maximum kills in one lobby) with a cash prize of Rs 50,000 went to Soul Ronak from team Soul.
Team Soul scored total points- 1600 with 46 kills; Team God’s Reign scored total points- 1550 with 39 kills; Team Funky Monkey scored total points- 1250 with 23 kills.
