Through the Mazhavil Manorama television series Marimaayam, she rose to prominence. She began her career as an instructor of Communicative English at Devamatha, CBSE School in Thrissur. Early Life and Career for Rachana Narayankutty
Rachana was born in Thrissur, India on April 4, 1983 to Narayanankutty and Narayani. She is the youngest sibling and has a sibling. Rachana completed her education at G. In 1998, she graduated from G. H. S. Wadakanchery and Sri Vyasa NSS College, Wadakanchery. She taught Communicative English at the CBSE Devamatha School in the Thrissur district. Also, took dance lessons prior to being cast in the television series. She married Arun Sadasivan in January 2011 and they divorced the following year.
Rachana began her acting career in 2001 by portraying the heroine’s friend in the Tamil film Theerthadanam. Even though it was a small part, Rachana considers beginning her career with a film written by M. a rewarding experience. After completing her studies, T. Vasudevan Nair joined Radio Mango in Thrissur as an RJ, where a producer spotted her and cast her in Marimayam.
