Rajasthan Election: Congress files complaint against BJP Tonk candidate

Jaipur: Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (RPCC) has filed a complaint against Bhartiya Janata Party Tonk candidate Yunus Khan for allegedly violating the model code of conduct. Khan allegedly held a press conference on Thursday on a no campaign day.

RPCC general secretary Sushil Sharma said that a written complaint has been submitted to the Chief Election Commissioner of India and the state’s Chief Electoral Officer against Yunus Khan on Thursday in violation of model code of conduct. He said that Khan held a press conference after 5 pm when the poll campaign ended.

RPCC president Sachin Pilot is contesting from Tonk against Khan.

As per reports Khan was not available for comments
