Apple iPad: Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman recently reported that Apple is attempting to reverse the MacBook and iPad sales decline. According to the report, Apple will release a redesigned Mac and iPad in March 2024. Anticipated for the upcoming Apple iPads are the M3 chipsets, which made their debut on the most recent Apple MacBook. Nikkei Asia has now published a second report detailing Apple’s intention to release inexpensive iPads in 2024 and its relocation of production resources to Vietnam.

Apple will relocate its iPad engineering staff to Vietnam.

Vietnam, like China, is an electronics manufacturing hub where Samsung and other brands export goods. Resources were reallocated to other countries because the corporation wanted to develop a production center outside China, especially after the epidemic.

Nikkei Asia says that Apple may send more iPad manufacturers to Vietnam, especially for new items.

According to the report, one of the main iPad manufacturers is BYD of China, which is reportedly assisting Apple in relocating its production facilities to Vietnam and will likely produce the forthcoming low-cost iPad. The report adds that Apple will likely introduce the inexpensive iPad in the second half of 2024.

Mid-February is when engineering verification of the forthcoming iPads will likely commence. Additionally, the report discloses that the imminent inexpensive iPad will be of the eleventh generation.

Apple’s pursuit of expanding its manufacturing presence extends beyond Vietnam to other nations as well. Apple and Tata Group have recently formed a partnership in India to produce iPhones. Tata Group has acquired the country’s Wistron plant that produces iPhones.

The precise date of introduction for the forthcoming inexpensive Apple iPad remains undisclosed. Significant details concerning the specifications of the prospective low-priced iPads are currently unavailable. Apple may potentially incorporate an enhanced display from the current 10th-generation iPad into the forthcoming low-cost iPad. Additionally, the budget iPad is expected to feature an “A1x series” chipset.

The current price of the 10th-generation iPad from Apple is USD 449 (approximately Rs 37,500), and the forthcoming low-cost iPad may be priced similarly. It is anticipated that Apple will maintain the current design principles for the upcoming iPad. The power button of the forthcoming low-priced iPad will incorporate the same biometric scanner and the bezels will be reduced in size.

Additionally, it has been suggested that Apple may enhance the sensor of the rear camera on the forthcoming budget iPad. In addition, an enhanced iPad mini is anticipated to be unveiled by the Cupertino behemoth during the latter part of 2024.

The iPad 10th generation has a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina LCD with 500-nit peak luminance and oleophobic coating. A 5nm Apple A14 Bionic chipset powers the device’s 12MP back and front cameras, which have f/1.8 and f/2.4 apertures, respectively.
