Robbie Gould Announces Retirement: Robbie Gould, a former kicker for the Chicago Bears, has officially quit the NFL. After writing a post beginning “All good things must come to an end,” Gould talked about his amazing career.

After 11 years with the Chicago Bears, Gould scored 1,207 points in 2015 to become the team’s all-time leading scorer. During his time in Chicago, Gould was very accurate. He made 85.4% of his field goals and an amazing 99.0% of his extra-point tries.

During his 17 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), Robbie Gould was a great placekicker. He began his journey as a football player for the Penn State Nittany Lions in college.

Gould was let go prior to the start of the regular season after the New England Patriots selected him in the sixth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He then signed with the Chicago Bears and played for them for 11 years. Gould scored 1,860 points during his time with the Bears, making him the team’s all-time top scorer.

Gould signed with the 49ers in 2017 after playing for the New York Giants for one season in 2016. He spent four years with the 49ers. When he got released in March 2023, that was the end of his time with the 49ers.

Gould was very accurate throughout his career. An amazing 86.1% of his field goals and 98.1% of his extra point attempts went through. Four picks to the All-Pro team and five selections to the Pro Bowl are among his achievements.
