Samsung’s new budget Galaxy M series go on its first sale today on Amazon India and Samsung’s online store. Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 smartphones are available to purchase on e-commerce platform Amazon India, from 12 pm onwards.
Galaxy M10 comes in two different variants – 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM paired with 16GB and 32GB internal storage respectively. The 2GB RAM variant of Galaxy M10 starts at Rs 7,990 while Galaxy M10 with 3GB RAM is available at Rs 8,990.
Galaxy M20 also comes in two variants. The 3GB+32GB storage variant is priced at Rs 10,990 while the 4GB+64GB variant of Galaxy M20 carries a price tag of Rs 12,990.
Samsung Galaxy M10 specifications:
The Galaxy M10 features a 6.2-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) Infinity-V Display panel along with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The M10 is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 chipset which is based on a 14nm process and offers eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.6GHz.
The smartphone also packs a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture. The M10 gets a 5MP selfie shooter in the front. The Galaxy M10 offers the face unlock feature for biometric, which may not work well in low-light.
Samsung Galaxy M20 specifications:
The Galaxy M20 features a slightly larger 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) Infinity-V Display along with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The M20 gets the newly announced Exynos 7904 chipset which is also based on a 14nm process. The chipset is equipped with two Cortex-A73 cores that run at 1.8GHz, and six Cortex-A53 cores that run at 1.6GHz.
The phone gets a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture. The M20 gets an 8MP sensor in front. The Galaxy M20 gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor in addition to face unlocks.
Both the Galaxy M10 and M20 ship with Android 8.1 Oreo with a new Experience UI 9.5, which offers a cleaner, smoother UI. Reliance Jio users can avail double-data benefits on recharge plans of Rs 198 and Rs 299. Both smartphones are available in two colour options of ‘Ocean Blue’ and ‘Charcoal Black’.
