Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav lashed out at Defence Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday saying that, it was a shame for Indian soldiers to be “killed in our own territory.” His statement comes following soldiers being killed and mutilated by Pakistan’s Border Action Team (BAT) in Krishna Ghati.

The veteran SP leader also questioned the ‘concerned minister’ and said that to counter Pakistan, the Army should cross the border and launch attacks.

“I would like to ask the Centre and the concerned Union Minister if he does not have the courage to order troops to go attack Pakistan to their own turf, when they are killing our soldiers here in India,” asked Mulayam.

Commenting on the susceptibility of EVMs to be damaged, Mulayam recommended that the PM must bring back the system of voting through ballot paper.

“The EVMs are very easy to be misused. I would urge the Prime Minister to discard the machines and bring back the system of voting through ballot paper,” said Mulayam.
