Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan becomes the first Bollywood celeb to grace the stage of the TED Talks (Technology, Entertainment and Design talks). The actor was at his wittiest best at the talk held in Vancouver. He shared many inspirational thoughts on the theme – how a “present you” is going to make the “future you,” a “better, stronger version of you.”

Defining India, he said, “The land I come from is a source of inexplicable but very simple spirituality. In its immense generosity India decided somehow that I, the Muslim son of a broke freedom fighter who accidentally ventured into the business of selling dreams, should become its king of romance, the Baadshah of Bollywood, the greatest lover the country has ever seen” and then added “with this face” drawing laughter from the audience.

SRK won the hearts of the audience with his insightful and witty dialogues. “The present you is brave. The present you is hopeful. The present you is innovative and resourceful. And, of course, the present you is annoyingly indefinable. The future you, has to be like an ageing movie star, who has been made to believe that there is a possibility of a world which is completely, wholly, self-obsessively in love with itself,” said SRK during his speech.

SRK, who is loved for his romantic roles, admits that he is not as romantic in real life as he can be seen on screen. He said, “I’ve learned that whatever moves you, whatever urges you to create, build, whatever keeps you from failing, whatever helps you survive, is perhaps the oldest and the simplest emotion known to mankind, and that is love.”

The actor just not narrated his experiences of being a celebrity, but also performed on a song ‘Lungi Dance’ from his film Chennai Express. Ted talks has just released the official video. Watch:
