Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise has taken a nasty turn with a lot of suspicions based raised on his death. Ever since the actor’s father has filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, there has been a lot said in the matter.
A CBI probe is been demanded by the family members as well as the fans of the actor to know what caused the actor to take such an extreme step.
Now recently, alleging that Sushant was “murdered” and the Mumbai police were not conducting a fair investigation, BJP MLA from Chhatapur and SSR’s cousin, Neeraj Singh Babloo, urged the state government to hand over the matter to the CBI.
However, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, said the RJD was the first political party to have made a demand for a CBI probe into the actor’s death.
The CM and his deputy, Sushil Kumar Modi, were present in the assembly when Babloo and Tejashwi raised the issue. However, none of them made any statement on the demand. Moreover, not a single MLA from the ruling JD (U) and the BJP spoke in favour of Babloo’s demand. Instead, legislators of the Congress, which is an alliance partner in the Shiv Sena-led government in Maharashtra, supported him.
Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader and former Speaker, Sadanand Singh, said the assembly should pass a unanimous resolution, seeking a CBI probe into the death of the Patna-born actor.
Babloo’s wife, Nutan Singh, who is a Lok Janshakti Party MLC, raised the issue in the legislative council and pressed for a CBI probe into the actor’s death.
For those who don’t know, last week Supreme Court has dismissed the plea for CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case and said Mumbai police will continue to investigate.
