This area of Bhopal has become a coronavirus hotspot

The capital city of Madhya Pradesh is divided into two parts- old Bhopal and new Bhopal. But the havoc of Coronavirus can be seen much more in the old part of the city where Jahangirabad has become a hotspot.

Bhopal:  The capital city of Madhya Pradesh is divided into two parts- old Bhopal and new Bhopal. But the havoc of Coronavirus can be seen much more in the old part of the city where Jahangirabad has become a hotspot. The situation is so dreadful that there is at least one Covid-19 patient in almost every street. The risk of this deadly infection is currently looming over the 60,000 people residing in Jahagirabad.

The condition of this region has turned so bad that there are five new containment zones for every two which get infection-free.

The Covid-19 patients tally of Bhopal has crossed 950, out of which 25 percent of the patients are from Jahangirabad. The current tally of the region stands at 240. Over 9,000 people have been screened and over 5,000 samples have been sent from the area. Keeping the safety of the residents in mind, they are being shifted to another area.

These are the most impacted areas of Old Bhopal

Jinsi road, Neem wali road, Raj Talkies, Abin Market, Kablipura, Ahirpura, New Colony, Chiklod, Church road, Kolipura, Sheet mohalla, Badwali Masjid, Jinsi masjid, Fareed street, Bapu colony etc are some areas from Old Bhopal which are worst impacted by the deadly Coronavirus.
