This Valentine’s Day love will have no boundaries. The well-known album ‘Queerism’ has released its new song ‘Lingering Wine’. The song presented by Pragya Pallavi has shown various aspects of same-sex love.
An album based on Lesbain, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual, Queer, Intersexual, Asexual (LGBTQIA) community is going to release in India for the very first time on February 12, 2019. The music video featuring Kani Kusruti and Pragya Pallavi traces the lesbian couple’s emotions.
Queerism which includes a total of nine tracks expressed the problems faced by the queer community. Not only this, but the album also celebrates the decriminalization of Section 377.
Pragya told a leading newspaper that second song from the album is on women empowerment and will be released on Women’s Day. She also expressed happiness in the recently released Bollywood movie Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga that is based on same-sex love. She also said that more movies should be made about the LGBTQIA community.
The report stated that the album’s crew also includes DJ Lolly, makeup artist, and stylist Ananya and Pranna. Pragya believes as pop music is widely consumed, her art will help a number of people understand the topic better.
