Tribal Maharally Gears Up for Grand Rally in Ranchi on February 4

Tribal Maharally Gears Up for Grand Rally: Bandhu Tirkey, a former minister, member of the coordination committee of the Government of Jharkhand, and working president of the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee, said that Jharkhand People’s Rights Day will be held on February 4, 2024, at Morhabadi Maidan in Ranchi, the state capital, to make sure that the tribal people get full, fair, and coordinated development. The group will put together the Tribal Unity Maharally.

A Maharally will not only give the tribe people an in-depth look at what’s really happening, but it will also give them the chance to decide how to quickly stir things up if necessary.

Tirkey said that this is an election year and that some people have been quite successful by using native people for their own gain, which is a shame. These selfish and antisocial people want to use tribe people as weapons and food, but we won’t let that happen this time. Tirkey said that the tribal people worship water, forests, and land.

He also said that they are naturally more innocent and take pride in themselves, which makes it easy to trick them. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that the weak state of the tribal people is the main reason why, even after 75 years of freedom, their lives are still very hard. They fight for food, clothes, schooling, health care, jobs, and many other things. They are also losing their land while they do this.

He said that most of the people who don’t feel emotionally connected to Jharkhand are foreigners who see it as a place to feed their animals. Also, people, especially tribal people, are being pushed to leave their homes, which means that tribal people have to keep moving.

The top Congress leader claimed that while the Congress government granted the tribal people many rights, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Central Government is now gradually taking those rights away. The leader of the Congress party said that if this keeps up, the tribal people will lose their water, forests, land, and culture.

Tirkey said that the tribal people would have to take care of themselves no matter what. Because of this, the Jharkhand Jan Adhikar Manch has put together the Tribal Unity Maharally.

He said it’s too bad that Jharkhand isn’t getting the benefits of both the Fifth Schedule and the PESA Act. Besides that, the Forest Rights Act has weakened tribal rights, and people are separating them from their woods. Since Jharkhand was created 23 years ago, tribal people have been uprooted very quickly, he said. In Jharkhand’s big cities, like Ranchi, tribal people can see these bad changes in the population, he said. The tribal people feel cheated because of what happened. He said that this is a very bad situation for Jharkhand as a whole.
