In what can be termed as highly terrifying incident, a headless torso of a woman with wrist of one hand and fingers of other hand missing, was found dumped in a cane field near Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district on Friday morning.
As soon as the residents of Utrawali village near Bulandshahr spotted the dead body, they informed the police, following which the body was sent for the post-mortem while a case of murder was registered.
Going by the reports so far, police officials have told that the woman was brutally tortured and her fingers were chopped off before the murder. The killers seem to have purposely chopped off her fingers and the head to conceal her identity. We have filed an FIR in Bulandshahr (rural) police station under IPC sections 302 (murder) and 201 (Causing disappearance of evidence of offence) against the unknown persons.
Meanwhile, police on Saturday morning found a plastic bag containing a head and chopped fingers, 30km away from the spot where the torso was found.
Officials have started the probe into the matter and efforts are on to know the identity of the vicctim and nab the accused.
