Marrying a second wife turned out costly to a young man in the Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh, as he was caught red-handed by the police and her first wife. The young man was trying to get married to the second woman from the village in a silent manner when he is already married to his first wife.
When his wife got a sniff of this fact, she reached there and complained to the police. The police came on the spot and caught the man who was going to get married.
On the second day, all the three sides involved met up in the Police station and discussed to reach some agreement in between.
The man was married to his first wife for eight years. But during some time, the young man’s love affair with another woman in the village began. On Wednesday evening, that man was going to marry another young woman without informing his first wife. Then the wife and her in-laws got a sniff of this fact. They all then arrived at the marriage site with many people from the women’s side. The wife began to make a ruckus while opposing the marriage. As the first wife started making an uproar, a large number of people reached the spot of the marriage.
The woman complained to the Uttar Pradesh police about the second marriage of the husband. The police rushed to the complaint and took the man into custody and brought him to the station. On Thursday morning, many people from men, his wife, and the woman’s side reached Police Station. The three sides continued to negotiate for a long time on some agreement till late evening.
SK Singh informed that the man was taken into custody on the complaint. And he will be released when the agreement will happen between the three sides.
