UPSC RECRUITMENT 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Government of India invites Online Recruitment Applications from Professionals Eligible for the Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II Group ‘A’ Post in the Department of Defence Research and Development (DDRD), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) of the Ministry of Defence (MoD). The UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification for Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II has been issued to fill 20 Vacancies in Group ‘A’ Gazetted, General Central Service, Ministerial Post Classification in the Pay Matrix Level-10 (Rs. 56100-177500). Based on the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification for the Notified Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II Group ‘A’ Post to be filled up in the DRDO Head Quarter, Ministry of Defence, New Delhi with All India Service Liability, Total 20 Vacancies are Inclusive of 10 Posts designated for the Unreserved Category Candidates.

According to the USPC Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notice, the applicants have until 10.08.2023 to complete the ORA (Online Recruitment Application) Process. This is stated in the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification. Senior Administrative Officer Grade II Group ‘A’ Post Nomenclature

Vacancies: 20 (with 10 reserved for candidates from the Unreserved Category).

Group ‘A’ Gazetted, General Central Service, Ministerial

Employment classification: All India Service Obligation. The Assignment is Permanent.

Headquarters of the Defence Research and Development Organisation, Ministry of Defence, New Delhi. Officers appointed to the service, however, remain subject to service anywhere in India.

Pay Matrix Level under UPSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the Official Notification for the UPSC Recruitment 2023, the Selected Individuals for the Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II Post will be eligible for the Monthly Salary at Pay Matrix Level 10, as detailed below:

Pay Scale: Level 10 (Rs. 56100-177500) according to the 7th Central Pay Commission

Upper Age Limits under UPSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the following Category-specific and Reserved Community-specific Age Limits (as of the Application Deadline, August 10, 2023) are to be read:

1) The Unreserved Category: Candidates cannot be older than 35 years old.

2) The Upper Age Limit for Regularly Appointed Central Government/Union Territory Government Servants Remains Relaxed by Up to Five Years in accordance with the instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time.

3) Applicants should consult the relevant paragraphs of the “Instructions and Additional Information to Candidates for Recruitment by Selection” section of the UPSC-issued Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 Official Announcement for Age Reductions.

UPSC Recruitment 2023

Eligibility for the 2023 UPSC Recruitment:

The Eligibility, according to the Official Notification for the UPSC Recruitment 2023, including the Required Educational Qualification(s) and Experience for Applicants, is as follows:

Essential Qualification(s): Willing Eligible Candidates must possess the Eligibility, which includes the Educational and Preferred Qualifications outlined below:

I) Educational Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree from a formally recognised college or university.

II) Experience: Three years of administration, establishment, or accounting experience.

Note: The Educational Qualifications and Experience Qualifications for Candidates who are otherwise qualified may be relaxed at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission.

Selection Procedure for the 2023 UPSC Recruitment:

The Union Public Service Commission will conduct the Recruitment Test Selection and Other Criteria for the Notified Post Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II in accordance with the official UPSC Recruitment 2023 announcement.

Recruitment Techniques:

In the event that a relatively large number of Applications are received from Applicants, the Union Public Service Commission may adopt the Shortlisting Criteria to limit the number of Eligible Candidates invited to the Interview to a Reasonable Number using One or More of the Following Methodologies:

a) “Based on the Desirable Qualification”

b) Based on Higher Educational Qualifications than the Minimum Prescribed in the Official Notification for the UPSC Recruitment 2023.

c) Based on Greater Experience in the Relevant Field Than the Minimum Required by the Official UPSC Recruitment 2023 Announcement.

d) By considering the Prior Professional Work-Experience before or after the Candidate Applicants acquired the Essential Qualifications.

e) By Invoking Prior Work Experience Even When Experience Is Not Specified as an Essential or Desirable Qualification.

f) Through the use of a Recruitment Test (RT).

Note-II: Minimum Passing/Qualifying Marks:

According to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification for Selection to the Post of Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II Group ‘A’, the Viva-voce/Personality Test carries a total of 100 marks, with the minimum qualifying/passing marks for selection being listed below:

I) The Category-wise Minimum Level of Suitability in the Interviews (100 Marks), regardless of whether the Selection is conducted solely through an Interview or by conducting a Recruitment Test (RT) followed by an Interview, shall remain as follows:

a) Unreserved (UR) Category: Minimum of 50 Qualifying Marks out of a Total of 100 Marks

50 points for Economically Weak Sections (EWS).

c) Other Backward Group: 45 Points

d) Persons with Benchmark Disability/ies (PwBDs): 40 Marks.

II) In cases where Selection is conducted by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by Personal Interview, the candidate must meet the Minimum Level of Suitability for their respective categories during the Interview Stage.

The following are the Application Fees and Payment Gateways by Category for the Applicants:

I) General Category/EWS/OBC Candidates must pay the Application Fee of Rs. 25.00 (Rupees Twenty-Five) only by remitting the Money in any Branch of the State Bank of India in Cash or by using the State Bank of India’s Net-Banking Facility or by using the Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card Payment Gateway.

II) Reserved Community (SC/ST/PwBD) and Women Candidates from any Community continue to be exempt from the Application Fee.
