Using Windows Copilot to Master Dark Mode

Using Windows Copilot to Master Dark Mode: Microsoft Windows 11 Copilot can toggle between light and dark modes, activate DND and Bluetooth, and even access the Bluetooth devices management page.

Ensure that you are running Windows Insider Dev to enable Copilot. Download ViVetool, extract its contents, and use the command prompt to enable Copilot.

Copilot has several additional features. As it is released to a wider audience in the future weeks and months, however, a more extensive revision is expected.

Copilot’s preview provides an early glimpse at the future of artificial intelligence on Windows for anyone interested. Copilot is unquestionably a step in the correct direction, despite having very few features and what appears to be nothing more than a Bing AI taskbar. Copilot enables users to transition between light and dark colour schemes, toggle DND and Bluetooth, and navigate directly to the Bluetooth device Settings page to manage connections. Here’s how to obtain Windows 11 Copilot and do everything else.

Copilot configuration on Windows 11

Windows Insider Dev must be installed in order to use Copilot on Windows 11. The subsequent step is to obtain the following tool:

ViVetool | Link to Github

After downloading, extract the file’s contents.

Copy its folder path then.

Then, execute the command prompt as an administrator.

Change the directory using the command:

cd “paste path to folder here”

Please ensure that the copied folder path is pasted above. Then enter vivetool /enable /id:44774629, 44776738, 44850061, 42105236 and press Enter.

After enabling these, restart your system. Then, right-click the taskbar to access the Taskbar preferences menu.

Activate Copilot (preview).

Copilot is now available on Windows. To access it, click on the icon or press the Win+C keyboard shortcut.

It will ascend rightwards.

Now that you have Copilot, you can utilise it for the purposes listed below and more.

Windows 11 Copilot: How to toggle between Light and Dark Modes

To activate Dark mode, input Turn on dark mode into the Copilot prompt box and send the command.

The action will be suggested by Copilot in an action bubble. Choose the affirmative option.

The dark mode must be implemented immediately.

Please note that dark mode is distinct from dark themes. Themes comprise multiple components, including background, mode, and accent colours, among others. Dark mode, on the other hand, only alters the colour of Windows and applications to black. Your background and accent hues will remain unchanged.

To alternate modes or activate the Light mode, tell Copilot to activate the mode.

As before, select the Yes button.

This adjusts the colour mode to Light.

How to enable and disable ‘Do Not Disturb’ with Windows 11 Copilot

Do Not Disturb (DND) is yet another configuration that can be toggled directly from Copilot. Simply enter Turn on DND and press Enter.

When the action bubble appears, choose Yes.

Copilot will relay the message once onboard. The DND icon will also appear in the taskbar.

Turn it off by selecting Turn off DND and pressing Enter.

And Copilot shall remain.

How to enable and disable Bluetooth using Windows 11 Copilot

Bluetooth activation and deactivation is another of Copilot’s small features. To activate it, as before, simply state Turn on Bluetooth.

And then select Yes from the action prompt.

Bluetooth is now enabled.

Or prompt the device to disable Bluetooth.

And choose Yes to affirm.

Manage Bluetooth apparatus

Copilot can also open the Bluetooth & devices Settings page so that you can easily connect or disconnect a device. Instruct Copilot to Connect/disconnect Bluetooth devices or Manage Windows devices to accomplish this.

These links will take you directly to the Bluetooth devices pages.

Unfortunately, due to it still being in development, the feature ends here. Although its response indicates that “you can now select which device to add,” it is not prompted to connect or deactivate devices.

Nonetheless, it allows you to navigate directly to the Bluetooth device interface, where you can manually connect or disconnect devices.Things can only get better from here on out.
