A Bharatiya Janata Party lawmaker from Agra on Monday December 17 was seen threatening a woman Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in full public view over some issues being faced by local farmers.
The viral video of the incident released by a news agency shows Garima Singh listening silently while Mr Chaudhary openly yells at her speaking of his ‘power’.
“Don’t you know I am an MLA? Don’t you realize my power, the power of democracy?” Chaudhary is seen telling the woman official in the video.
The incident took place when MLA Singh had gone to Agra’s Kerawali tehsil, as there the distribution of relief items was being distributed for the crops which were eventually damaged to natural calamities.
