Verizon has partnered with Warner Bros. Discovery and Netflix to offer a $10 per month streaming bundle that includes Netflix and Max with advertisements.
Beginning on December 7, Verizon myPlan customers with the Unlimited Welcome, Unlimited Plus, or Unlimited Ultimate plan will have access to the bundle. Verizon stated that the bundle will enable consumers to save over 40% compared to the price of purchasing each service individually.
“Verizon is the first provider to offer a bundle of Netflix and Max (with advertisements) that is accessible to all MyPlan customers,” the announcement stated. “Verizon is using its strategic relationships with the biggest players in the content industry to continue to unlock more value for its wireless customers.”
Verizon presents a $10 Disney bundle comprising Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN Plus as its second bundle. Verizon stated that by combining this plan with the Netflix and Max bundle, five streaming services can be obtained for a monthly fee of $20.

The announcement is consistent with a recent report by AlixPartners indicating that streaming subscriptions via plans that combine a streaming service with cable TV, broadband, or wireless plans may become less expensive as demand increases. This is in contrast to directly subscribing to streaming services. Particularly, new streaming subscribers are inclined to choose this type of bundle, and customers can save between 20% and 50% by bundling, according to the study.
