Meet Jake Fraser-Mcgurk: To replace the injured Lungi Ngidi, the Delhi Capitals signed Jake Fraser-McGurk. Because Ngidi just played in the SA20, the Capitals opted to sign Fraser-McGurk.
The young player has played already in the ILT20 this year with the Dubai Capital, DC’s sister team. In three games for the Capitals, McGurk scored 109 runs, with a best score of 51 and a hit rate of 213.72.
Meet Jake Fraser-Mcgurk
Australian Fraser-McGurk has already played in two one-day internationals and has scored at a strike rate of over 220 in his first match. Against West Indies in 2024, Fraser-McGurk scored 41 runs off just 18 balls.
He is an all-rounder with the Capitals. He hits the ball with his right hand and bowls leg-breaks with his right arm. His starting price is Rs. 50 lakh.

The IPL 2024 auction winner Harry Brook, who had played for Dubai Capitals and South Australia, dropped out to mourn his grandmother’s passing.
A replacement has not yet been named. Delhi Capitals paid 4 crores for Harry Brook. Rishabh Pant had to undergo a 14-month training and healing process before the IPL 2024 season. DC’s first game is against Punjab Kings on March 23.
