Sex Trafficking in Palghar: Police in Maharashtra rescue a 12-year-old girl from Bangladesh who bad people kidnap and force into prostitution for three months. The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit of the Mira-Bhayander Vasai-Virar police, with help from NGOs called Exodus Road India Foundation and Harmony Foundation, save her on July 26 in Naigaon. They arrest ten people so far, including six from Bangladesh.
Two women, ages 32 and 33, might have helped sneak the girl into India illegally. The girl suffer a lot, move to different places like Navi Mumbai, Pune, and Nadiad in Gujarat, where bad people hurt her, reported Free Press Journal.

Then a broker fly her to Mumbai. In Navi Mumbai, a man named Mohammad Khalid Abdul Bapari, who is 33 and from Bangladesh, keep her. He hurt her badly and force her into prostitution. When she try to say no, they beat her and burn her body, leaving marks. Later, they move her to other brokers in different places.
Horrible Treatment and Exploitation
In Nadiad, Gujarat, two brokers named Pritiben Mohida, who is 37, and Niket Patel, who is 35, control her. For three months, they make her suffer as around 200 men hurt her. The clients pay between Rs 5,000 and Rs 15,000 each time, but the girl only get Rs 500 for each meeting.
The bad people promise to send her home soon, but they lie. Police think they give her injections to make her body grow faster and sedatives so she can’t run away. “Police officials also said the girl may have been given hormonal injections to induce premature puberty, and sedatives to keep her from running away,” a police source say.
Rescue and Ongoing Investigation
An NGO hear about the girl’s trouble and tell the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, who rescue her. The police arrest nine people so far: Mohammad Khalid Abdul Bapari, who is 33, Juber Sheikh, who is 38, Shamim Sardar, who is 39, and Ruby Bapari, who is 21, all from Bangladesh.

They also arrest Indian people named Ujwal Kundu, who is 35, Parveen Kundu, who is 32, from Virar Pritiben Mohida, who is 37, and Niket Patel, who is 35, from Kheda district in Gujarat; and Sohel Sheikh, who is 23, from Ahilyanagar. “Naigaon Police Station Inspector Abhijeet Madke stated that more arrests are anticipated as the investigation progresses,” a police officer say.
The police send a team to Ahilyanagar to find more clues. They work hard to catch everyone involved in this crime. MBVV police chief Niket Kaushik say, “Teams have been dispatched to various places in the country.” The girl’s family in Bangladesh know about her rescue, and the police make plans to send her home safely through legal ways. The authorities promise to keep investigating to stop this terrible crime and help the girl heal.
