All India Congress Committee secretary Ajay Kapoor, who was on a one-day visit to Bihar on Thursday, said that the party is ready to emerge as strongest in the state and would prepare for all 243 assembly seats in the assembly elections which are due for later this year.
Kapoor has been given the charge of Bihar and had visited the state to interact with the members of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee and discuss party’s strategy for the upcoming assembly elections.
As quoted in a report of Times of India, Kapoor said that Congress functionaries and workers will work tirelessly to rejuvenate the party in the state.

Asked about RJD, which is presenting itself as big brother in Mahagathbandhan and strongest of all the allies in Bihar, Kapoor said, “All parties are strong but Congress will emerge as the strongest of them all.”
Interestingly, Kapoor refrained from naming RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav as the alliance’s chief ministerial candidate. “These things are decided by the Congress’s high command,” he said.
