The game started with Mumbai’s Swapnil Chavan on the hot seat of the ‘Kaune Banega Crorepati 12’ on October 14 with host Amitabh Bachchan starting with the 6th question. He had answered till the 5th question in the October 13 episode, and the game had to be stopped midway due to a hooter ringing. The show continued from there on the next day.

Previously, Swapnil was a project engineer at a company where he worked for 10 years but he left his secure job to start his own venture. Since 2015, he’s running his own company.

He had suffered a lot due to the pandemic outbreak before the lockdown was imposed in March he had 12 projects in hand but after that, there was no business for his company to work on. As a result,  he had to ask some people in his office to leave due to the lack of business.

Thus, Swapnil, who believes in exploring an opportunity to its best potential, reached KBC with the hope to make a comeback.

It turns out that Swapnil combines intelligence, knowledge and guts to continue to bag Rs 25 lakh on the show. He quit the game after the 13th question worth Rs 50 lakh as he had used up all his lifelines.
