Following India’s defeat against England in the second Test match, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag criticised the team terming it “very poor”. Sehwag took to the Twitter to express his disappointment by defeat of Indian team and, even slammed Virat Kohli for showing less efforts to fight back.
Very poor from India. While we all want to stand by our team and support them when they don’t do well, going down without a fight is very disappointing to watch. Hope they have the confidence and mental strength to comeback from this.

Team India was handed a defeat by an innings and 159 runs after being bowled out for 130 in their second innings at the lord’s cricket ground. The defeat now means India are trailing the five-match series 0-2 now with three Tests to go. After day one of the Lord’s Test was washed out, India were bundled out for just 107 runs on the second day. James Anderson claimed a five-wicket haul to push India on the back-foot.

Responding to India’s paltry 107, England, thanks to Jonny Bairstow and Chris Woakes’ effort, managed to secure a valuable lead of 289 runs.
The hosts declared their innings at 396 for seven on day four morning. Woakes remained unbeaten on 137 while Bairstow was unlucky to miss out on a century. He was dismissed on 93.
The third Test between India and England now takes place at the Trent Bridge in Nottingham from August 18 onwards.
