WBJEE Result 2025: Students who gave the WBJEE 2025 exam are still waiting for their results. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board has not yet released the result, but it can come out anytime soon. WBJEE 2025 Result Delay

But reports say that Sonali Chakraborty, who is the chairperson of the board, mentioned that the delay might be happening because of a survey that is being carried out to identify new OBC groups. Since the category of a student plays a big part in how the WBJEE ranks are calculated, the board wants to make sure the OBC list is final before announcing the results.

Before the WBJEE 2025 result is announced, the candidates can calculate their probable secured scores using the answer key.
- First, the candidates will have to download the provisional answer key.
- Next, the candidate’s responses have to be compared with the official WBJEE exam answer key.
- The marking scheme as per the official exam pattern has to be followed.
- The total calculated will be the probable scores secured in the exam.

State Adds 76 New Castes to OBC List
The West Bengal Government recently made an important decision. The Cabinet has approved the inclusion of 76 more castes to the state’s OBC list. This decision is based on the recommendations made by the West Bengal Commission for Backward Classes.
