BPSC 70th Topper Shraddha Pandey: BPSC has announced the final 70th CCE result. Shraddha Pandey secured first rank with 593 marks as 2,027 candidates were selected after months of delays, protests, and re-examinations.
The Bihar Public Service Commission has now released the final result of the 70th Combined Competitive Examination. The wait is over for thousands of candidates who had been stuck in a long process full of delays, protests, and court fights. Shraddha Pandey from Uttar Pradesh got the top rank with 593 marks. Shashank Gaurav and Ayush Bijoy came next with 592 marks each. The final selection list has 2,027 names against 2,035 vacancies.
The announcement was made in Patna by BPSC Chairman Ravi Manubhai Parmar. The Commission said the result closes almost the full recruitment cycle and now the successful candidates will move toward posting and appointment work in Bihar.

How the Exam Reached this Point
This exam had a troubled road from the start. The preliminary test was held on 4 January 2025, and there was a ruckus at the Bapu Examination Complex. After that, the PT was cancelled and a re-exam was held. Later, a three-month protest asked for the whole exam to be scrapped, but the Commission kept the recruitment process going and said transparency was not broken.
The mains exam was held from 25 April to 30 April 2025 at 32 centres in Patna. Around 20,034 candidates took part in that stage, and 5,401 candidates moved to the interview round after the mains result came out on 16 December 2025. The BPSC exam calendar also shows that the 70th CCE was one of the biggest recruitment drives in recent years.

What Happens Now?
Now that the final list is out, the Commission will finish the last formal steps. Selected candidates will soon get their allocation details and appointment letters from the departments where they are to be posted. The main posts in this exam include administrative and other service roles in Bihar, so the result is a big step for the state’s hiring process.
Officials said the long delay happened because the number of candidates was very large and the checking work took time. Even with the trouble in between, the Commission said the process stayed fair and merit-based throughout.
