Redmi K100 Pro, K100 Pro Max: Redmi has officially confirmed that its next generation flagship, the Redmi K100 Pro Series is going to show up in China on August 11. That date marks one of the biggest smartphone moments for the brand this year. After teasing the lineup during ChinaJoy 2026, the company now sort of locked in the launch schedule, and meanwhile leaks have surfaced with several flagship-level specifications expected across the series.
Redmi K100 Pro, K100 Pro Max
Redmi first hinted at the K100 series during ChinaJoy 2026 calling it an “annual heavyweight product” donating to it’s clear emphasis on performance. The teaser featured the phrase “Demon King Arrives,” a nickname long associated with Redmi’s K-series flagships.
The company has now confirmed that the Redmi K100 Pro series will officially debut on August 11 in China.
Expected Specifications
Although Redmi has yet to reveal the complete specifications, multiple industry leaks suggest the phones could feature:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor
- 6.59-inch flat OLED display on the K100 Pro
- Up to 185Hz refresh rate
- 200MP main rear camera
- 50MP periscope telephoto camera
- 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner
- IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance
- Glass back with a metal frame
- HyperOS based on Android 16.

Huge Battery
Battery life is expected to be one of the standout features of the K100 Pro series. Recent leaks suggest Redmi may equip the phones with an 8,500mAh to 9,000mAh-class silicon-carbon battery, paired with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. If these specifications turn out to be accurate, the K100 Pro series might end up being, like one of the longest-running flagship smartphones on the whole market.
Premium Camera Upgrades
Photography should also get a noticeable lift. Leaks suggest the Redmi K100 Pro may include a 200-megapixel primary sensor, along with a 50MP periscope telephoto lens for sharper zooming. Redmi is said to be aiming at making the K100 lineup feel like a more complete flagship not just a performance-only smartphone.
What About the Price?
Redmi has not announced pricing. However, given the flagship hardware and premium positioning, analysts expect the K100 Pro series to be priced above the previous generation while remaining more affordable than comparable flagship devices from Xiaomi, Samsung and other rivals. Official pricing will be announced during the August 11 launch event.
As of now, Redmi has only confirmed the China launch. The company has not announced plans for an international release.
