The Traitors 2 Trailer: Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer for The Traitors Season 2 and it is set to deliver an even bigger mix of tricks, partnerships and face offs. Hosted again by Karan Johar, the reality competition comes back with 21 celebrity contestants, including Shweta Tiwari, Mallika Sherawat, Rhea Chakraborty, Munawar Faruqui, Krystle D’Souza, Abhishek Malhan (Fukra Insaan) and a bunch of other familiar names. The new season is scheduled to premiere on August 13, 2026.
Shweta Tiwari Makes a Personal Revelation
One of the trailer’s most discussed moments centers on Shweta Tiwari’s straightforward reply during a chat with Karan Johar.
When Karan asks if she can really spot lies well, Shweta answers that she caught both of her ex husbands cheating on her. That raw, emotional statement instantly became one of the most talked about beats from the trailer with audiences applauding her honesty while others shared sympathy for what she’s been through.

Then there’s the viral flash where Mallika Sherawat seems to poke Rhea Chakraborty, bringing up her earlier legal issues and the later comeback.

Karan Johar says, “Iss palace mein fir se aayenge 21 shaatir players. Unke beech chhupe honge kuch traitors [Once again, 21 cunning players will enter this palace. Hidden among them will be some traitors].” He further added, “Pichla season dekhne ke baad bhi yahan aane ki himmat kar li [you all had the courage to come here even after watching the previous season]? I have to sayguts].”
This season also introduces “Boo,” a mysterious new character described as the bearer of “bad news,” adding another unpredictable twist to the game’s format.
