Moto G Max India Launch: Motorola is gearing up to launch the Moto G Max in India on August 14 and the smartphone design with its key specifications are now surfaced before the official debut. A Flipkart listing seemingly unmasked a set of details for the incoming Moto G-series handset, covering its screen, chipset, cameras, battery and even durability oriented features.

The Moto G Max headed to India looks noticeably different from the model that was earlier launched in certain global markets, so this upcoming Indian arrival should be especially interesting for shoppers.

Moto G Max India Launch Date and Time

The Moto G Max will launch in India on August 14 at 12 PM IST, according to the Flipkart landing page spotted ahead of the official launch.

Under the hood, the Indian Moto G Max will be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset. The processor is paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, according to the pre-launch listing.

Motorola is also advertising up to 18GB of RAM with RAM Boost. This figure combines the phone’s physical memory with virtual RAM, rather than representing 18GB of physical RAM.

The smartphone is listed with a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, and Motorola claims that it can deliver up to three days of battery life. The company also says the battery is designed to support up to 1,000 recharge cycles.

Motorola is also focusing heavily on durability. The phone is listed with IP64 protection and MIL-STD 810H certification, while the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic.

The Moto G Max is expected to ship with Android 16. Motorola is also promising two major Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates for the device.

Moto G Max India Price

Motorola has not officially announced the India price of the Moto G Max yet. Previous reports had suggested a possible price in the mid-range segment, but those figures should not be treated as confirmed. With the August 14 launch approaching, the official price and sale date are expected to be revealed at the event.

India Variant vs Global Moto G Max

One important point for buyers is that the Indian Moto G Max shouldn’t be confused, with the Moto G Max that was launched earlier in Brazil and other markets. The global model has been reported with specs like a MediaTek Dimensity platform, a 200MP camera and also a different display setup. Meanwhile the Indian version, revealed ahead of August 14, instead goes with the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 camera and a 7,000mAh battery.
