US President Donald Trump said that he is looking forward to his visit to India at the end of this month with his host Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who promised for making it a memorable trip.
On Tuesday, the White House and India’s external affairs ministry officially announced that Trump and First Lady Melania would be having a two-day trip and will visit New Delhi and Ahmedabad.
In Ahmedabad, Trump and Modi will attend the Kem Chho Trump event which will have more than 125,000 people expected to attend the program, along the lines of the “Howdy Modi” event hosted for Modi in Houston in September.
In a recent event, Trump told reporters that he is looking forward to going to India. He further added to it that PM Modi is his good friend and he is a great gentleman.
PM Modi, on his microblogging site said that Donald Trump’s visit to India on 24-25 February is a very special one.
He further added that India will arrange a memorable welcome to their esteemed guests.
He concluded it by saying that Trump’s visit is a very special one and it will go a long way in further cementing India-USA friendship.
