Alaska Dividend Payments June 2026: The Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend, or PFD, is one of the most unusual payment programs in the United States. It gives money to people who qualify and live in Alaska. For 2026, the official 2025 dividend amount is $1,000 per eligible resident, according to the Alaska Department of Revenue. The state says people can check their application status through “myPFD.”
A new payment round is coming in June 2026. The state says 2025 and older applications that are in the “Eligible-Not Paid” status on June 10, 2026 will be paid on June 18, 2026. Another payment round is already planned for July 16, 2026 for applications that reach “Eligible-Not Paid” status by July 8, 2026.

Who Can Get The Dividend
To qualify for the 2025 Permanent Fund Dividend, a person must have been a resident of Alaska for all of calendar year 2024 and must also intend to stay an Alaska resident forever when applying. The person must not have claimed residency in another state or country since December 31, 2023. The state also lists crime and incarceration rules that can block payment in some cases.
The filing period for the 2026 season was January 1 through March 31, 2026. The Alaska PFD FAQ says applications filed after March 31 are denied by law unless a person fits a special exception. The state also says applicants should keep checking their status because online and paper applications can take different amounts of time to process.
What The Status Means
The most important words for applicants are “Eligible-Not Paid”. This status means the state has decided the person is eligible, but the money has not been sent yet. Once an application reaches that stage, it is usually included in the next payment batch. That is why June 10 matters so much for the June 18 distribution.
