In an appalling incident, a minor girl in Hozai district of Assam was gang raped. The accused also made the video during the gang rape and uploaded the clips to social media. The police have arrested three accused in this case.
The police told that the incident took place one month ago in the village of Digaljaruni in the Galaxy reserve forest of the Doboka police station area. The incident came to light when an accused uploaded the video on social media and it became viral. An FIR has been registered in this case on Wednesday.
According to the FIR, on March 25 last month, when the 16-year-old victim was going to his relative’s house with his brother-in-law, five people ganged up with him on the way.
The police officer said that the five accused took the victim to the forest, where he raped her. An accused made a video of the whole incident and uploaded it on social media. Three of the five accused have been arrested by the police from Diglazaruni village.
The police have taken the victim’s brother in the custody and are questioning him. Two accused are still absconding. The victim has been sent to Nagaon Civil Hospital for medical examination. Right now the police are investigating the whole case.
