List of Bank Holidays in April: Fourteen days will pass in April, during which banks will be closed in various states. In addition to public holidays, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has provided a list of bank holidays for the upcoming month, which includes Sundays, the second and fourth Saturdays. The RBI and the corresponding state administrations coordinate these holidays in their scheduling.

For April 1, 2024, banks will remain closed in observance of the March 31 closure of annual accounts. Likewise, March 31 is Easter Day. Mizoram, Chandigarh, Sikkim, Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, and Meghalaya will all maintain their banking operations.
Telangana and Jammu will observe a bank holiday on April 5, 2024, observing Babu Jagjivan Ram’s birthday/Jumat-ul-Vida.
Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Manipur, Goa, and Jammu will continue to observe Gudhi Padwa/Ugadi Festival/Telugu New Year’s Day/Sajibu Nongmapanba (Cheiraoba)/1st Navratra by maintaining closed banks on April 9, 2024.
List of Indian festivals and holidays for the year 2024
Banks will be closed on April 10, 2024, in observance of Id-ul-Fitr in Kerala.
Except for Chandigarh, Sikkim, Kerala, and Himachal Pradesh, all states will celebrate Ramzan-Id (1st Shawaal) on April 11, 2024.
Banks in Tripura, Assam, Manipur, Jammu, and Srinagar will close on April 13, 2024 (the second Saturday) for the Bohag Bihu/Cheiraoba/Baisakhi/Biju Festival.
As of April 15, 2024, banks in Himachal Pradesh and Assam are closed.
Banks will be closed in the following states on April 16, 2024: Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Chandigarh, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. This is in observance of Ram Navami.
In Tripura, banks are closed on April 20, 2024.
