Newly elected MLA Shahnawaz Alam of Jokihat, who won recently for the first time in Bihar assembly elections, was threatened to death. Apart from Shahnawaz, his wife, mother and daughter have also been threatened.
Jokihat MLA Shahnawaz Alam family members were harassed were also harassed a few days back. The incident took place late at night at Jokihat’s residence in Sisona.
Interestingly, the newly elected MLA from Jokihat has accused RJD candidate and his elder brother Sarfaraz Alam of conspiracy behind this incident.
Jokihat MLA Shahnawaz Alam has filed a case in the police station against 15 people including elder brother and former MP cum RJD candidate Sarfaraz Alam.
Shahnawaz Alam had contested against former RJD MLA Sarfaraz Alam from Jokihat. He had defeated his brother in the electoral field. Now after the election results come, Shahnawaz Alam has accused Sarfaraz Alam of attacking his house and family.
