Being provincial programs, these programs are not available for the residents of other provinces. In addition, each program has its own qualifying requirements, and people don’t usually have to apply for them. This is because the CRA evaluates whether someone is eligible to get the PRO Deposit based on their tax returns.

If their income in a particular tax year qualifies for the ACFB or OTB, they will be automatically considered for the PRO Deposit. The amount delivered as the Canada PRO Deposit is a tax-free amount, which means that the citizens who get this deposit don’t have to report it.
