Durga Mandir Puliya, Awapalli, Bijapur: Four Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans have lost their lives in Bijapur when Maoists blow up an anti-landmine vehicle carrying the Jawans. Following the blast Naxals who were hiding around started firing and as a result, four CRPF personal lost their lives leaving two others injured.
Maoist insurgents ambushed CRPF troops using gunfire ‘followed by IED blast’ targeting their bulletproof bunker’ causing four deaths and two injuries.
The incident took place on Basaguda Tareram road, Superintendent of Police Mohit Garg has confirmed the attack.
