Coronavirus hotspot in Bihar: 25 from same family infected with Covid-19 in Siwan

As the global epidemic coronavirus continues to wreak havoc. In Bihar’s Siwan district, 11 more people have come across a case of corona positive. They are all members of the same family. Thus, the total positive cases in Siwan have gone up to 31, including 25 people from the same family in Panjwar.

In Bihar, the total number of coronavirus positive patients has now gone up to 60.

While six corona patients were detected on March 30, another six patients were reported in a single day in Bihar on April 7. Principal Secretary, Health department Sanjay Kumar said that most of these have been identified as extension of travel history or infection.

Samples of two boys aged 15 and 18 years at Begusarai have been found to be positive, they hail from the Bachwara area of Begusarai. Their travel history or contact with a corona infected are being identified.

According to information received from Begusarai, the number of patients infected with coronavirus has now gone up to four.

Department sources said that four districts are being considered very sensitive. These include Siwan, Munger, Patna and Gaya.

The Patna-Begusarai border has been sealed after two corona patients were found at Begusarai. On other routes also, vehicular traffic has been stopped. In a village adjoining Patna district, a patient returned to Patna from abroad.
