Coronavirus in India: List of helpline numbers for state and UTs

Coronavirus cases have seen a surge across India, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare to contain the pandemic has tweeted a list of helpline numbers for the public on Friday.

Ministry of Health & Family Welfare recommended citizens to give a call on the following number if they feel they are developing symptoms similar to the novel coronavirus.

The tweet shared had specific helpline numbers from various states and union territories.

Delhi govt. has already declared coronavirus as an epidemic and has closed down schools, colleges and cinema halls until March 31.

India has decided to go in a partial lockdown suspending visas of people entering the country for a month on Friday, the measure aims to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus and spread of the infection.

So far, as many as 75 individuals across the country have been affected by a coronavirus. A 76-year-old man from Karnataka succumbed to the disease on Thursday.
