In an appalling incident, a 35-year-old man on Thursday was shot dead by unidentified attackers outside his house in Delhi’s Vikaspuri.

The victim has been identified as Amit Kochar who along with his two friends was waiting for food they ordered from a mobile application. When the doorbell rang, Amit went outside to collect the order and was confronted by the attackers.

As per the reports, the attackers only told him they wanted to talk. He was then taken to a car in which he was shot multiple times. The man died on the spot.

His friends rushed for help after listening to the gunshots. The attackers pointed the guns at them and threatened them to stay out of the matter.

The deceased man worked at a call center in Gurgaon and is survived by his wife. When the incident took place, his wife was at work.

The man used to work at a call center but was unemployed currently.

The police are investigating the matter and footages of the CCTV cameras installed in the area are being scanned. The motive behind the murder could not be ascertained so far and it will be known once the accused will be held.
