Delhi Metro Traffic Update: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to inform the users of Delhi metro took to their Twitter handle to share that the entry and exit gates of Lal Quila and Jama Masjid have been closed, but other stations are open, so this is to inform all users beforehand that you can use the other metro stations to travel to your desired destination.
Yesterday after the violent clashes between farmers and police personals, things went haywire, due to which attest 20 metro station in Delhi were closed as the chaos escalated on January 26th Republic Day.
The Farmers have been protesting on the different borders of the national capital- New Delhi since past few months against the three newly enacted farm laws – Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020; the Farmers Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and farm Services Act 2020 and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
