On Tuesday morning, Delhi NCR region saw rains in most of its parts. At places hailstorm was also reported. Roads were left stuck with traffic. Due to a sudden swing in the climate, the next few days could see more rain.
According to Accuweather, a leading website on weather forecast, more rain is expected due to western disturbances, ie disturbances in the mountainous regions of country.
Here is the weather forecast for the next five days of Delhi-NCR
January 23(Wednesday): Wednesday might see another rainy day, with temperatures ranging between 19 degrees Celsius and 19 degrees Celsius.
January 24(Thursday): Hazy sun, air quality could be unhealthy after the AQI had improved on January 22 following the rain.
January 25(Friday): Little sprinkle is expected to decrease the temperature of Delhi NCR further the low will touch 7 degrees and the high remain under 20 degrees Celsius. Sun will remain behind the cloud cover.
January 26(Saturday): Another notch down in the temperature, with partial sunshine Delhi will witness a rainy day.
January27(Sunday): Sunny Sunday but it will the coldest day of the week. With mercury reaching levels of 5 degrees Celsius.
Widespread rainfall was also witnessed in Punjab.
Chandigarh and its surrounding areas experienced light rain. There was winds accompanying it. The Met Department has predicted rainfall over the region in the next 48 hours till Thursday.
In Punjab, rains lashed Amritsar, Jalandhar, Hoshiapur, Kapurthala and some other districts starting Monday afternoon. The showers have continued on Tuesday. Moderate to strong winds accompany the rain.
