A 26-year-old woman and her boyfriend has been arrested for allegedly killing parents after they refused to hand over their property.
The accused Davinder Kaur, a resident of Deepak Vihar in outer Delhi and Prince Dixit, a resident of Gomti Nagar extension in Lucknow, planned murder of the woman’s mother and father and executed one by one in 10 days. The live-in couple allegedly killed 54-year-old Gurmeet Singh on February 21 and 46-year-old Jageer Kaur on March 2.
Sonia’s father Gurmeet Singh, who was a carpenter, and her mother Jageer Kaur were killed using the same modus operandi at their home in Chander Vihar. After murdering them, their bodies were stuffed in suitcases and dumped in a drain in Paschim Vihar.
On March 8, Police were informed about a maroon-coloured suitcase floating in a drain with a woman’s body stuffed inside.

The body was later identified to be of 47-year-old Jageer Kaur. The police found that her husband Gurmeet Singh was also missing. The next day her husband’s decomposed body was found on the opposite side of the drain.
The couple’s 26-year-old daughter was called in for questioning. The police said they found her statements to be suspicious and contradictory. The call records of suspects and the CCTV footage of the area were analysed.
Upon investigations, police found that five years back, Sonia was married to a man and got divorced. She even has a son and a daughter from her second marriage but was divorced again. Sonia has been divorced since December 2017. Later she fell in love with a 29-year-old event manager Prince Dixit alias Vikram from Lucknow.
