Exynos Modem 5410 Galaxy Phones: Before people get too excited, one thing must be very clear from the start. Samsung has not officially confirmed everything yet. Still, fresh details about Samsung’s new Exynos Modem 5410 are slowly coming out.

Samsung has already revealed its next big phone chip called the Exynos 2600. This chip uses very advanced 2nm technology and is expected to power phones like the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and some Galaxy S26 models in selected regions. When Samsung introduced the chip, it stayed very quiet about the modem inside it.

What is Exynos Modem 5410?

The Exynos Modem 5410 is expected to sit alongside the Exynos 2600 as a premium modem. It mixes both regular mobile networks and satellite networks on one single chip.

The modem supports LTE DTC, NB-IoT NTN, and NR NTN. This makes it one of Samsung’s most advanced connectivity parts so far. Samsung builds this modem using a 4nm EUV process, and it follows the 3GPP Release 17 standard.

One of the most interesting things about the Exynos Modem 5410 is satellite connectivity. NB-IoT NTN works with very low data speeds but stays reliable. It sends small bits of data like location details or short messages. This can work even in places like oceans or deserts. Reports say Samsung has already received Skylo certification for this feature.

LTE DTC, or Direct-to-Cell may be the biggest highlight. This tech could allow longer satellite connections and may even support voice calls without needing regular mobile towers. NR NTN goes a step further and offers higher speeds. In the future, it could allow video calls and richer data services using satellites.

Exynos Modem 5410: Features

On the performance side, the Exynos Modem 5410 supports 5G NR dual connectivity across sub-6GHz and mmWave bands. These are also known as FR1 and FR2. Samsung is reportedly targeting a top download speed of 14.79Gbps, which clearly places this modem in the flagship category.

By combining powerful 5G support and satellite communication in one place, this modem looks ready for daily mobile use as well as emergency situations where normal networks fail.

It is still too early to say for sure if the Exynos Modem 5410 will launch with the Galaxy S26 series.
